The Good:

Longest running site of it's kind. They have good security and site moderation. Most profiles are of decent quality and have pictures.

The Bad:

Website doesn't have any advanced features. e.g. matchmaking. There isn't any vetting of users. Everything is on trust.

Bottom Line

There’s no shortage of rich, eligible men on Sugardaddie. The problem is sorting real deal out from the dreamers. Without vetting, you have to do the checks yourself. Sugardaddie.com has a big, active member community. Women out-number men by at least 2 to 1.

Some people call it a place full of “gold diggers”. Others say it’s a place to meet a higher caliber of man or woman. SugarDaddie don’t make any bones about their aims. They are there to bring together affluent men with beautiful women.

Their website hasn’t changed much in the last 10 years. That is, as long as they’ve been around pretty much. If that’s a good sign or not I’m not sure.

What I’ve found on Sugardaddie.com is this. If you don’t pay attention to your profile you can get your account blocked pretty quick. The more lame your profile, the more chance you have of being denied access – permanently.

That means, it’s not wise to put-off filling all sections, and uploading at least one photo.

It’s a real pain if your account gets rejected because you then have to start again with a fresh email address.

They have enough people joining that they can be brutally selective about who gets in. That’s especially true for women. Women actually outnumber men by 2 to 1 on this site.

On SugarDaddie you’ll find all types. What I came across mostly were young attractive girls looking for older men. They often say in their profiles what they’re looking for. Some want financial support – maybe through college – others just want to live the high-life.

Either way, what works best on this site is to be upfront about what you’re looking for. Remember, this place isn’t about building relationships. It’s for mutually beneficial arrangements.

The features on the site are sparse and basic throughout. What you have are a basic search box, and essentials like email and creating favorite lists. That’s about as far as it goes. But whatever, it’s worked for the last decade why change now. At least you won’t get bamboozled by all of the popups and gimmicks that you find on a lot of other dating sites nowadays.
